Rare 1915 Menominee Teller/Vertical Axis Fan.  This style and color combination were intruduced in 1915.  The motor on this year model is very sleek and simple, very modern for the time period.  I believe the paint to be original and in person it looks more ivory than the yellow hue it appears in some of the images.  The nickle plate is original and really in great condition for 100 years old.  Fan runs on three speeds tho little difference but is wired correctly to the coil.  A little history on this fan, it is from the estate of Stan Good.  Stan liked to write his name and a date on fans in his personal collection in obscure places.  Stan wrote on the inside of the bottom cover his name and a date in May of 1993 so this fan has been in a private collection since then.
