Professionally Restored 12" GE Continuous Oscillator Desk Fan
Professionally Restored 12" GE Continuous Oscillator Desk Fan. This rare GE oscillator is sometime referred to as the 1 star oscillator. The 1 star is in reference to the single star designed knob at the bottom of the oscillator wheel. These models are very rare to find that are still in operation. The gears were easy to wear so only the low mileage well cared for examples are still in operation. This example has been restored by Carlton Ward. Carlton's work has been a key feature of the "Raffle Fans" for the Antique Fan Collectors Association for many years. Carlton does not do restorations as a business so having the opportunity to own one of his works is rare. The fan was nicely finished off with gold leaf hand painted pinstripes. Fan runs superbly!!
