Philco 71 Cathedral radio. From the lifelong collection of a very serious radio collector is this Philco 71 cathedral radio. This radio was originally put in service in April, 1931. It was painstakingly restored both electrically and cosmetically in February 2005 when added to the collector's collection. The case is a beautiful walnut and tastefully refinished. The chassis had the filter capacitors changed as well as any out of value resistors and deteriorated wiring .The radio retains the original grill cloth. Plays well.
