On consignment from the well respected Carlton Ward, a longtime member of the Antique Fan Collectors Association known for his exceptional restorations and contributions to the fan community, is this Original Circa 1904 12" GE Pancake Stick Mount. This desirable half fluted stick mount pancake retains its beautiful original finish. It has been cleaned and polished to reveal a stunning rich black japanned finish perfectly complemented by the polished and lacquered brass blades and cage. When operated on 110v AC, fan displays a nice speed separation on all five speeds with low speed being incredibly soothing. The bearing displays signs of wear from use over the last 120 years and blade needs to be balanced. This original example would make an excellent addition to your collection.
