ORIGINAL 12" NICKEL PLATED WESTINGHOUSE TANK FAN
Very Rare Original 12" Nickel Plated Westinghouse Tank Fan. In all my 20 plus years of collecting, this is the first original color and plating finish combination I have ever seen. Nickle was an available finish option for Westinghouse Tank Motors but you just don't find examples still around. It is rare to find the original nickel still in this condition. A blade collects lots of dirt and grime over the years and that dirt eats into the surface of the finish making it non existent. The nickle on the blades, cage and oilers has held up really nicely for the almost 110 years. The original paint on this fan is excellent!!! Fan has been cleaned and waxed and is ready for use or display. Your chance at a rare Westinghouse Tank Motor.
