Original 12" Circa 1907 Western Electric Victor Tank Motor Fan. The Western Electric Victor was the workhorse of the early 1900s and remains one of the most desirable tank motor fans to this day. This example retains its incredible original finish, which displays beautifully. The blades and cage have been polished and complement the original black finish nicely. The nose on the rear motor housing has been refreshed and blends very well with the surrounding finish. There are also a couple of minor areas of paint chipping, as shown in the photos, which are simply signs of use over the past 120 years. The fan has been cleaned, waxed, and serviced, including cleaning the rotor fingers and centrifugal switch, installing new oil, wick, and motor grommets. The headwire and power cord were replaced prior to our acquisition. The fan runs excellently on two speeds as designed.
