From the "Museum Collection of Steve Cunningham", we are pleased to present this unique 1890s DC bipolar motor. Little is known about its manufacturer, but the quality of construction and attention to detail make it highly desirable. Given that it operates on 220V DC, it is likely of European origin. Possibly used in a variety of applications, this motor would have simplified daily tasks by replacing hand-cranked devices with machine operation. A beautiful piece to add to a motor collection or to display as a stand-alone decorative item.
