Early 1900's Schonner Lahmeyer square toy motor.  Thick metal frame with a great brass cross hatched front motor cover and the square design is so unique and modern.  Power is attached to the terminals on top of the motor.  I was able to get the motor running but it will need some cleaning on the commutator and brushes as well as alignment of those flat brushes on the commutator.  Underside of the base, is stamped A.H. ?001.  Flipping through a reissue of the 1906 Bing Toy Catalogue, it shows a dynamo of very similar design.
