Rare opportunity to acquire a comprehensive collection of the highly sought-after Pre-World War 8" All Brass GE fans. This remarkable collection comprises 11 preserved 8" All Brass fans dating from 1910 to 1915. While collectors refer to all 11 fans as "ALL BRASS," it's important to note that over time, GE gradually replaced certain brass parts with various types of metals.  This collection vividly showcases this transitional phase, as described below:

1. Circa 1910 8" All Brass Fan: This variation predominantly consists of brass components and displays internal wire, a flat strut, a drop ring cage, and no grease cap. This example is gun metal blue and could use some refreshing, runs on 3 speeds, has bearing wear.

2. Circa 1910 8" All Brass Fan: This variation predominantly consists of brass components and displays internal wire, a flat strut, a drop ring cage, and a GE grease cap. This example runs nicely on 3 speed, stripped strut to motor screw, needs a longer power cord.

3. Circa 1911 8" All Brass Fan: This variation predominantly consists of brass components and displays internal wire, profile strut, drop ring cage, GE grease cap. This example does not run, motor vibrates and hums.

4. Circa 1912 8" All Brass Fan: This variation predominantly consists of brass components and displays external wire, profile strut, drop ring cage, GE grease cap. This example has been painted and runs slowly and has several splits in the motor housing.

5. Circa 1912 8" All Brass Fan: This variation is an oscillator and contains mostly brass components and displays external wire, profile strut, drop ring cage, GE grease cap. This example does not run without giving it a push and there is no medium speed.

6. Circa 1913 8" All Brass Fan: This variation contains a steel motor housing and steel base, external wire, profile strut, parallel ring cage. This example has the original finish, runs on all three speeds, top strut needs to be straightened, and base is not level.

7. Circa 1913 8" All Brass Fan: This variation contains a brass motor housing and brass base, external wire, profile strut, parallel ring cage. This example won't start without a push, bearing holder is stripped, runs on all three speeds.

8. Circa 1913 8" All Brass Fan: This variation contains a brass motor housing and steel base, external wire, profile strut, parallel ring cage. This example has the original finish and could use some refreshing, runs on all three speeds, displays one broken S wire, and has a little bearing wear.

9. Circa 1913 8" All Brass Fan: This variation contains a steel motor housing and steel base, external wire, profile strut, parallel ring cage. This example displays its original finish and may need some refreshing, runs quietly on all three speeds. 

10. Circa 1914 8" All Brass Fan: This variation contains a steel motor housing and steel base, external wire, profile strut, parallel ring cage. This example displays its original finish and needs some refreshing, runs on all three speeds, and has some bearing wear.

11. Circa 1915 8" All Brass Fan: This variation is the last serial number on record and contains the least amount of brass components. This example displays its original finish and needs some refreshing, runs on all three speeds, and has some bearing wear.
