Circa early 1904 12" Trunnion Mounted GE Pancake. Recently acquired from a private collector who needed to downsize and liquidate some prized possessions. When we started cleaning this example it was very difficult determining if it was original or an older repaint. Based on a few minor details we believe older restoration. The character in the finish and sheen look as though the finish could be original, in other words it is not "over restored " but done exactly right! All Brass appears to have been polished at time of restoration and has developed a very nice subtle patina. Brass 10 wire guard is beautiful and in perfect condition with no breaks or repairs. Fan runs perfectly on 5 distinct speeds. An absolutely beautiful example!!
