Circa 1938 Restored 16" Hunter Zephair Oscillating Desk Fan.
Acquired directly from the restorer, this fan delivers a bold pop of color and style! The purple finish pairs perfectly with the Art Deco lines, while the refinished silver cage complements the large aluminum blades—which appear to have been cleaned during the restoration and still display their original oxidation character. The wiring was upgraded at the time of restoration using our USA produced OTR+W head wire and power cord, which were then being supplied by designer Howard Granoff. The fan has since been cleaned and serviced with fresh grease and oil. It runs smoothly on all three distinct speeds and can be used in either stationary or oscillating mode. The Hunter Zephair is an ideal daily-use fan and a striking accent piece that adds personality to any space.
