Circa 1930s 16" Verity Orbital Oscillating Desk Fan. The Verity Orbital is a highly desirable fan due to its distinctive orbital oscillation—it is truly art in motion. This example has been refinished and the brass polished prior to us acquiring it. The black finish, sculpted base, and brass blade/cage combination give it a bold, elegant presence. The oscillation can be disengaged by loosening the knob on top of the gearbox. The slow speed runs very well and watching it oscillate is nothing short of mesmerizing. The blade has a couple of imperfections from age which leads to some slight vibration when the fan is running on high. The fan has been fully serviced, cleaned and waxed and a new head wire and power cord have been installed. This is a must have and will be the center of attention!
