Circa 1930's 12" Verity Orbital Oscillating Desk Fan. Fresh from a longtime personal collection we are pleased to offer this example. The Orbital Oscillating movement is mesmerizing to watch and sought after by collectors or anyone intrigued by mechanical design. The finish on this example is much like others I have seen and is possibly its original factory finish or maybe painted at some point in its past. Blade and guard are steel, blade finished in a silver/brass color and guard appears more silver with heavy oxidation to the material. Fan operates as designed on two speeds (fast, slow). Tagged cycles are 50 and I have found it to operate as normal on 60 cycles. Also the voltage is 100/110 making this an example for the us market. Very unusual oscillating fan!
