From the "Museum Collection of Steve Cunningham" we are pleased to present this Circa 1929 Primo Marelli Thermo Fan "Scaem" by Marelli Appliance Construction Company. One of only two known to exist, this rare piece has the AFCA Museum inventory number #651.  Very impressive solid bakelite housing is in excellent condition.   Not only is this a fan/heater, it is also a fragrance spreader.  Small drawer on the side of the case opens to access a shallow drawer with original wool wick material for soaking up a fragrance of your choice. It's tagged to run on 220 volt AC, but written above the tag reads 160. We found it to operate on 135 volt AC.   Beautiful Italian manufacturing exemplifies the art deco design of the period. Tested and operates as designed.   Incredible addition to your foreign design appliance collection.
