Circa 1929 Emerson Type 29668 6 Blade 16" Oscillating Desk Fan. Very large and impressive, this 29 series 16" 6 blade fan really moves some air on 3 distinct speeds. We have completely disassembled this fan and preformed a complete servicing on the internal parts. We have cleaned and waxed the exterior parts to reveal its amazing original finish. We upgraded the headwire and power cord using our OTR+W premium cloth covered wire. The base has received fresh felt for placing on a delicate surface. Although these blades are brass, originally they were painted gold and with time the original gold paint did not hold up well. We have refinished the blades back to their original manufactured finish using a nice rich brassy/gold. Very large and beautiful fan capable of supplying a nice breeze to a large space or just looking impressive sitting still.
