Circa 1929 Emerson 12" Type 29646 Rare All Chrome Oscillating Desk Fan Original Finish

Circa 1930 Factory All Chrome 12" Emerson type 29646 12" desk fan. Chrome finishes became an available option on desk fans in the 1930's.  Chrome finishes were marketed for use in clean sterile environments such as restaurants and hospitals.  It's rare to find an all-original factory chrome model especially from Emerson.  This is a true survivor!!  This is an iconic Emerson desk fan that encompasses turn of the century design with 1920's-30's modern technology. The quality craftsmanship that was built into this fan is what has kept it still running today. This quality cannot be found on a fan in todays market, which like everything else is produced to be disposable. Every aspect of an Emerson 29646 is rebuildable/repairable should something go wrong.  There is little to no oxidation on this example, minimal surface scratches are present but hey....its almost 90 years old.  It has been cleaned and displays beautifully showing some signs of character created over the last 95+ years.  New oil/grease has been added, and the power cord andhrad wire have been updated using our premium OTR+W USA produced wire.  Fan runs and oscillates perfectly on 3 distinct speeds.  When looking at this example it is hard to imagine that is almost a century old.   This is a must have for a daily runner. We have used an Emersion 29646 for the past 20 plus years as our daily runner.  We just add oil occasionally and it runs wonderfully with the perfect amount of white noise.
