Circa 1929 Emerson 12" Type 29646 Brass Blade Oscillating Desk Fan Original Finish

Circa 1929 Emerson type 29646 12" desk fan. This is an iconic Emerson desk fan that encompasses turn of the century design with 1920's-30's modern technology. The quality craftsmanship that was built into this fan is what has kept it still running today. This quality cannot be found on a fan in today’s market, which like everything else is produced to be disposable. Every aspect of an Emerson 29646 is rebuildable/repairable should something go wrong.  This Emerson Type 29646 appears to have the original finish on the motor and base.  It has been cleaned and displays beautifully showing some signs of character created over the last 95+ years.  New oil/grease has been added, and the power cord and head wire have been updated using our premium OTR+W USA produced wire.  New black felt was added to the base to protect the surface of your furniture.   The fan runs and oscillates on 3 distinct speeds.  The brass blade has been refreshed to closely match Emerson’s original gold finished blade and pairs beautifully with the shiny original finish on the base and motor.   When looking at this example it is hard to imagine that is almost a century old.   This is a must for a daily runner. We have used an Emersion 29646 daily for the past 20 years.  We just add oil occasionally and it runs wonderfully with the perfect amount of white noise.
