Beautiful original circa 1921 9" Emerson Stationary Desk or Wall Mounted Fan. This gorgeous example marks the first year of the Emerson Jr. line and it retains its original character throughout. The original deep black factory finish on the cast iron base and motor is in outstanding condition - a testament to Emerson's quality, which continues to make their antique fans among the most sought after. At some point over the past century, the cage and blades were repainted and present as they would have appeared when the fan originally left the factory. The fan has been fully cleaned and serviced and the power cord has replaced with our superior OTR+W USA produced wire. The fan runs smoothly on one distinct speed and is considered a plug-in design - in that it turns on immediately when plugged in. It is versatile and can be mounted on a wall. There is a minor older repair on the back of the cage that is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. This Emerson Jr. desk or wall mounted fan is perfect for daily use.
