Circa 1920 Westinghouse Rotaire Ceiling Fan Professionally Restored Nickel Plated
Circa 1920's Westinghouse Rotaire Restored. Westinghouse Offered This 360 Degree Rotation Fan For Use In Restaurants, Theaters, Stores And Offices. When Found, This Fan Was In Need Of A Complete Restoration. While Restoring This Example, I Wanted To "Have Fun" With The Completed Product. Taking Inspiration From The Rotairs Double Motor Counterpart The Gyro, I Decided To Use A 12" 6 Wing Blade. For A Tasteful Compliment To The Rich Black Finish, The Blade, Guard And Switch Housing Were Nickle Plated. This Example Turned Out Beautiful!! The Motor Was Rewound By The Late Sydney Lamb Many Years Ago But Only Recently Was This Restoration Completed. Beautiful Example That Will Be The Centerpiece Of Any Setting.
