Original Finish Circa 1920 Signal Vertical-Axis Cone-Base “Teller” Desk Fan. This is a rare model—only the second example I’ve had the opportunity to own in all my years of collecting. The original paint has been lacquered to preserve it, resulting in a fantastic, naturally crackled finish that complements the fan’s unique design. A few areas show carefully executed brush touch-ups that blend in well. The vertical blade assembly has been refinished in brass, and the fan retains its original cage. The commutator and field coils have been professionally rewound, and the fan runs very well on its two speeds. It has been fully serviced, and new wiring has been installed. This is a very distinctive and uncommon model, especially in preserved original finish with this much character.
