Circa 1917 12" Western Electric Brass Blade And Cage Non-Oscillating Desk Fan. Manufactured In 1917 by Westinghouse Electric, this became Westinghouse's staple fan design for many years to come. Similar to previous fan offering by Westinghouse, this model was marketed by Western Electric bearing their branding on the cage and motor tag.  This new design incorporated a change to stamped steel material making for a lighter fan for ease of transport and wall mounting. This wonderful example features the original black finish which is in Superb Condition. Brass blade and guard appear to have been cleaned or polished at some point in the past and display beautifully with the original finish on the body.  We have serviced this model for another 100 Plus Years Of Use. Wiring has been upgraded using our superior OTR+W Cloth Covered Head wire And Power Cord. Fan Operates Perfectly On 3 Distinct Speeds. Excellent Fan For Daily Use!!
