Circa 1915 Menominee 8" Staghorn Oscillating Desk Fan. This Example Features An Exceptional Original Finish! The Finish Shows Minimal Signs Of Wear Ans Is In Above Average Condition. The Brass Appears To Have Been Polished At Some Point In The Past But Not Lacquered And Will Continue To Age Nicely Over Time. We Have Disassembled And Serviced This Fan. Gearbox Has Been Cleaned Of All Old Grease And Fresh Lithium Grease Used To Fill The Gearbox. There Is A Hairline Crack In The Gear Casing, This Has Been Reinforced From The Inside And Is Very Solid. We Did Not Even Notice This Until Inspection During Servicing. The Original Wiring Had Started To Fray And Expose The Copper Strands, We Installed Fresh New Cloth Cord For Safe Operation. Fan Operates Perfectly On 3 Distinct Speeds. Excellent Example Of A Highly Desirable Fan!!
