Circa 1915 8" Menominee Brass Blade Cage Desk Fan. A Very Industrial Designed Motor Sits Atop The Very Solid Cast Iron Cone Shaped Base Making A Very Solid Small Desk Fan. The Brass Guard Is Attached To The Motor Using Heavy Cast Brass Struts, An Example Of Menominee's "Heavy" Industrial Design. The Motor Is A Brush Design Operating On 110v AC or DC, With Original Headwire Still Intact. The Brass Components Of This Fan Have Been Polished And Display A Very Pleasing Shine. For Safe Operation, The Power Cord Has Been Replaced With Period Correct Twisted Cloth Covered Wire. This Fan Operated As Designed On 3 Distinct Speeds.
