Circa 1914 12" GE Collar Oscillator. From the New England Collection, this highly collectable example is known for its unique oscillating design. Due to its unique design GE experienced issues with this model and it was quickly discontinued. The oscillation mechanism is engaged and disengaged by turning a brass collar located on the neck, this collar raises and lowers the motor thus engaging and disengaging oscillation. This example was painted/restored a number of years ago by a local automotive restorer and brass appears to have been polished at time of restoration and left to age naturally. After restoration the fan sat on the shelf of this collector until it I acquired it in the spring 2022. We have preformed a recent service on this model and it is ready for daily use or collection display.
