Circa 1914 12" Century Skeletal S3 Oscillator Survivor from St. Louis
Contained in a Lifelong Collection from the city in which it was born comes this Beautiful All Original 1914 12" Century "Skeletal" S3 Oscillating Desk Fan. This Fan Has Been Completely Disassembled And Serviced In House At Antique Fan Parts. The Gearbox Was Completely Disassembled, All Gears Checked And Cleaned. The Gearbox Was Completely Cleaned Of All Old Grease And Replaced With Fresh Clean White Lithium Grease. The Oiler Was Cleaned Of All The Old Heavy Hardened Oil, New Fresh Wick Installed And Cup Refilled With New Oil. We Replaced The Tattered Cloth Covered Headwire And Power Cord With Soft And Flexible OTR+W Designed For Electric Fan Restoration Wire. The Brass Still Retains Its Wonderful 100 Plus Years Of Patina. The Switch Is The Original 5 Speed With Slide Lever. Runs On 5 Distinct Speeds With The Slowest Being Very Slow "Movie Like". The Oscillation speed is very slow and I have termed it "methodical". Excellent Example and ideal for daily use!
