Circa 1912 16" GE "Kidney" Oscillator Desk Fan Restored
Beautifully Restored 1912 16" GE Kidney Oscillator Desk Fan. This Beautiful Example Came To Us From A Long Time Collector Who Owned The Fan For A Few Years But Could Not Recall Who Restored It. This Example Still Retains Its Original Undamaged Gearbox. The Gearbox Appears To Have Been Cleaned Of Any Old Original Grease And Replaced With Fresh Clean Lubrication For The Next 110 Years. The Stator Appears To Have Been Rewound, Would Estimate This Was Done At The Time Of Restoration. Brass Has Been Professionally Polished And Lacquered For Years Of Continued Shine. Paint Is A Thick Rick Automotive Finish With Gold Leaf Pinstripes. Fan Operates On 3 Distinct Speeds. Very Rare To Find A Complete Example That Contains All The Original Components.
