Circa 1912 12" Robbins & Myers "Gearback" Oscillating Desk Fan 30V DC. "Ijar" (Code Word given by Robbins Myers) was offered in 1912 as the Model 11530 30V DC as part of their 11 series of oscillating Desk Fans. This fan appears almost exactly like the day it rolled off the production line in Springfield Ohio. The finish is in incredible condtion. It has been cleaned and waxed and displays like new! There are a couple of minor imperfections in the paint as seen in photos, but adds to the character and charm of a 110+ year old fan. The fan still retains its original pinstripe and speed numbering and headwire also appears to be original. Brass has developed a nice patina. Fan has been serviced and power cord has been replaced with our premium OTR+W wire. Fan runs and oscillates perfectly on 3 distinct speeds. It can be wall mounted.
