Introducing the Circa 1912 12" "Excello" desk fan, a rare gem manufactured by Eck in the USA for the Australian market. This unique fan features a Tab Base Side-gear Oscillating design with a mesmerizing exposed brass gear that allows for both a stationary setting and an adjustable oscillating sweep. Acquired from a dedicated preservation-focused collector, this is the only known surviving example. The iron components retain their original finish with less than average wear, showcasing the collector's commitment to preservation. We've carefully cleaned and waxed the fan to restore its original "day one" shine. Original brass components show no signs of breaks or repairs. The oscillator components have been cleaned and serviced for optimal performance, and the wiring has been upgraded for safe operation on our OTR+W cloth-covered wire products. With three distinct speeds when supplied with 220V AC, this fan is a very rare find, perfect for serious collectors who appreciate both history and functionality.
