Rare Early All Original 12" Robbins & Myers Feather Vane Oscillating Desk Fan.  This Early "Flat" Base Feather Vane Oscillator still retains an amazing original finish with some original pinstriping still present.  Acquired from an eclectic collector, the fascination with this fan was its amazing mechanical oscillating design and was promimently displayed in their personal office for many years.  The fan was left in "As Found" condition, upon receipt we cleaned and serviced the motor and adjusted the feather mechanics for smooth operation.  Brass retains beautiful original patina!!  Guard still retains its original brass flag which has survived nicely.  Examples likes this rarely come out of collections and once acquired become longtime placements as upgrading an example such as this is almost impossible.  The vintage of the feather vane is unknown and if not original, it appears to have been a part of this fan for most of its life.  A Staple Fan For The Serious Collector!!
