Original Circa 1911 12" Emerson 16666 Lever Oscillator Desk Fan. This historic desk fan is an example of Emerson's final model featuring the 6 wing cast hub blade and blade lever oscillating mechanism. This model is highly sought after by collectors due to its six blades, cast iron hub, lever oscillating mechanism, and signature “step” base. The original black japaning has been cleaned and waxed and displays a gorgeous shine - like the day it rolled off the production line. The brass cage and blades have been previously polished. Lever oscillators are not known for their flawlessly smooth operation due to the many wear points, this example displays hesitation in its oscillation from over 100 years of use. The fan has been serviced and the power cord has been replaced with our superior OTR+W sheath wire. Little speed change was noted from low to medium.
