From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this desirable Circa 1911 16" Sprague Ball Motor DC Stationary Desk fan featuring beautiful brass components complimented by a cast iron construction that gives it a cool industrial appearance. The motor retains its original finish, while the base has been repainted. The two complement each other nicely. Custom struts are included but will require holes to be drilled for installation. Once assembled, the cast iron will look great with the polished cage, along with the distinctive Sprague badge. The head wire appears to be original, and the power cord is in good condition, although it is very short. The fan operates on three distinct speeds as intended. It does exhibit noticeable vibration while running. This example is tagged at 0.77 amps; however it draws approximately 1.12 amps. Great opportunity to own a desirable DC Ball Motor Sprague.
