Beautiful All Original 1910 12" Robbins & Myers List 1404 Desk Fan. When Found Someone Had Applied A Light Coat Of Flat Black Spray Paint Over The Original Finish. We Have Carefully Removed That Finish To Reveal This Beautiful Original Finish And Remaining Pin Stripes. On The Original Finish Were Some Remnants Of Paint Drips, It Seems That Fans Were Rarely Moved when The House Was Painted. We Chose To Leave These Drops Of Paint As Part Of The Fans History. All Brass Still Retains Its Original Patina Which Has Developed Over The Last 110 Years. This Fan Has Been Completely Disassembled And Serviced. Oil Cups Have Been Removed And Cleaned Of All Old Grease/ Oil. We Replaced The Oil Wicks With Fresh Clean Wicking And Soaked Them In New 20w Oil. The Headwire (From Base To Motor) Has Been Upgraded For Safety To Our OTR+W Superior Cloth Covered Wire. Fan Operates On 3 Distinct Speeds And Is Ideal For Daily Use.
