Circa 1910 12" Robbins And Myers 1424 6 Blade Desk Fan. From a lifelong R&M Collection, we are pleased to offer this very rare 6 Blade version of Robbins and Myers Tank Motor Fan. This example must have spent most of its life in a storage closet, the original finish is incredible!!! We have cleaned and waxed the finish to reveal the beautiful 115 year old finish. Brass components appear to have been polished many years ago and have started to patina. Guard features its original brass flag logo...a very rare find. We discovered an old reapir on the guard as shown in the photos. Head wire and power cord have been upgraded to our premium OTR+W cloth covered cord. Fan has been fully serviced!! Bearing are being lubricated with fresh oil and new wick material. Beautiful fan that would be ideal for daily use.
