Circa 1909 restored 12" Westinghouse Electric vane oscillator desk fan. A highly desirable early vane oscillator, acquired from a collector’s estate, with an older restoration completed prior to our acquisition. The brass on this example presents a rich bronze-brass tone with a striking sheen, nicely complemented by the deep black painted finish. Together, they give the fan a strong, well-balanced appearance. When supplied with its specified 110–120V AC, the fan operates smoothly on two distinct speeds as designed. The wiring appears to have been updated at the time of restoration.
