Circa 1909 12" Western Electric "Hawthorn" Vane Oscillator Professionally Restored. We acquired this example from a lifelong fan collector who decided to release a few pieces from their prized collection. This example was restored several years ago and has been on display since. All cast iron was finished in a rich black automotive lacquer. Brass has been polished and lacquered at time of restoration and still displays beautifully. Fan runs perfectly on the 2 distinct speeds as it did when new. An excellent example perfect for the serious collector or lover of unique artifacts.
