When Starting To Collect Fans In 1995, I Quickly Came To Love Westinghouse Tank Models. At One Point, My Collections Primarily Centered Around Variations Of This Fan In The Best Original Condition To Be Found. Over The Years The Collection Has Transitioned But My Fondness For This Model Still Remains. Over The Years We Have Serviced And Sold Many Westinghouse Tank Models And Its Rebranded Counterparts. When This Example Was Picked From Inventory, There Was Just Something "Special" About It. Everything About This Fan Was As Close To "New" As I Have Seen. Sure Wish This Example Came With Its Own Storybook!! Upon Removal Of The Switch For Servicing, We Immediately Noticed How Clean And New Looking It Appeared. The Bottom Fiber Cover Still Retains 90 Percent Of The Fans Original Instruction Label (These Labels Are Never This Complete). Around The Base, There Is Normally Chipping From The Fan Being Moved Around After The Rubber Feet Have Dried And Broken Off. This Example Has Very Very Minor Signs Of Any Chipping (It's Almost Perfect). There Is One Small Chip On The Surface Of The Base Finish. The Motor Casing Shows Very Minimal Signs Of Age As Well. The Brass Components Still Retain Their Original Lacquer And Patina That Has Developed Over The Last 114 Years. We Have Cleaned And Waxed The Original Finish To Show Just How Beautiful It Is. The Original Blued/Blackened Oilers Are Still Present And Contain Fresh Oil And New Wicks. This Example Runs As Beautifully As It Looks. Our Price Is A Little Higher On This Example Due To The Rarity Of Its Original Condition.
