Circa 1906 12" GE Trunnion Mount Pancake Motor Desk Fan.  GE designed and produced an icon in the fan collecting community with their line of "Pancake" motor desk fans.  I recently acquired this excellent example as part of a roughly 2 dozen piece collection.  The collector had high appreciation for the GE Pancake models with several excellent examples in the collection.  This example has been restored either by the collector or a fellow fan collector, either way it is an excellent execution of the restoration.  Brass components appear to have an excellent original patina and may have likely been cleaned of dirt and dust but not polished as part of the restoration.  Fan operates excellent on 5 distinct speeds.  Fan has been cleaned and serviced at Antique Fan Supply Co. and is ready for display or daily use.  Excellent example!!
