Restored Circa 1906 12" Emerson Type 1510 Stationary Desk Fan.  Fresh from a personal collection where it has spent the last 20 plus years prominently displayed.   This 112 year old fan has been restored back to new condition. The restored finish is in great condition, and the brass blades and cage have been polished at time of restoration both have started to develop a slight patina. Motor is tagged 104 volts and appears to have been rewound by Sydney Lamb at the time of the restoration to run on modern voltage of 115 to 120.  Featuring the desirable cast iron pie crust base and the centrifugal start switch, this is a must have for any serious collector.  When starting the fan you hear the start switches clicking, and once up to the desired speed they open up to disengage the start winding. When turning the fan off, you will hear the start switches lay back down on the start mechanism until stopped.  This is a very desirable "early technology" trait of this model.  The fan has been fully serviced and the head wire has been replaced with our superior OTR+W wire.  This fan operates as designed on 2 distinct speeds.
