Circa 1906 54" Tuerk Type C "Wavy" Bottom Ceiling Fan Professionally Restored

1906 54" Tuerk Type C "Wavy" Bottom Ceiling Fan Professionally Restored.  This beautiful Tuerk Type C Ceiling fan has been professionally restored and is ready for another 100 plus years of operation.  Fans stator has been removed and tested for voltage leakage then reinsulated for continued containment of the fans electrical circuit.  Rotor has been cleaned and refinished.  New races and bearing were installed for flawless operation.  Cast iron housing was stripped and cleaned of oxidation, several layers of high-quality primer applied, and finished in Satin Black Lacquer.  Bottom cover and oil cup were blued/blackened and lacquered to seal, embracing the high-quality iron used in production of this wonderful fan.  Blade brackets are finished in satin black lacquer as a compliment to the motor’s exterior.  Original solid Walnut blades have been professionally refinished and provide a sophisticated look while retaining the original material combination from 1906.  In keeping with the original materials, the down rod is covered in a "rope twisted" sleeve and finished off at the ceiling with a Tuerk fluted cast canopy.  For operation and installation, the fan will be supplied with our Antique Ceiling Fan Hanger kit as well as a 5 Amp Motor Controller for convenient speed selection.  An absolutely beautiful fan that works well with today’s design trends as well as a historic renovation/restoration.
