Restored Circa 1905 12" Diehl Pullman Train Car Wall Mounted Fan.  Pullman Coach train cars provided a luxury method of travel during the early 20th century and to keep the travelers cool, Pullman outfitted these cars with wall mounted fans supplied by Diehl Mfg.  This example has been professionally restored and pinstriped to match its original finish and details.  This example is a more desirable model featuring a tab footed wall mount base, the more commonly found examples have a square box bracket and no speed switch.  The cage may have been an upgrade with the restoration as to what was originally used on the fan.  Brass blades were polished when restored and not lacquered so they will develop a nice rich patina over time or can easily be polished back to a high shine if desired.  Fan operates on 3 speeds using 24V DC.
