Description

Circa 1905 12" Trunnion Mounted GE Pancake.  Recently acquired from a private collector who needed to downsize and liquidate some prized possessions.  When we started cleaning this example it was very difficult determining if it was original or an older repaint.  Based on a few minor details we believe older repaint.  The character in the finish and sheen look as though the finish could be original,  in other words it is not "over restored " but done exactly right!  All Brass appears untouched with beautiful patina.  Back ring of the guard shows older repairs and is really part of this examples history.  Fan runs perfectly on 5 distinct speeds.
