Circa 1903 12" GE Pancake Desk Fan Stick Mount Restored
Circa 1903 12" Stick Mount GE Pancake Desk Fan. This Fan Has Rocketed Its Way To The Top Of The Most Desirable Fan In Its Price Range. We Acquired This Fan As Part Of A Large Collection Last Year And Are Unsure Who The Restorer Was. Would Describe This As An "Older Restoration", Displaying Some Character Blemishes Since Being Restored. Fan Has All Original And Correct Components. Brass OFF Tag Displays A Hairline Crack. There Is Also An Area Of Silver On One Wing, Unsure What That Is. Brass Has Been Highly Polished Years Ago And Is Developing Patina. Front Oiler Is Steel And Appears Custom Made With A Painted Black Finish. Fan Runs Excellent on 5 Distinct Speeds, In The Video Below The Fan Almost Appears To Be Running Very Slow, This Is Due To The Video Recording Speed Compared To The Fan Speed. Power Cord And Head wire Have Been Replaced During Restoration. Blade Tuns Smoothly On All Speeds. Great Opportunity To Acquire A Desirable Fan.
