Circa 1902 16" GE Pancake Desk Fan Original Fully Ribbed Stick Mount

From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this Circa 1902 16" GE Pancake Fluted Stick Mount Desk Fan.  This example showcases the distinctive and desirable full fluted base and stick mount. It features a rare large diameter cage badge measuring 3" compared to the standard size of 2 ¼".  We believe the finish to be original and all brass appears to have its original patina - which has darkened beautifully.  The head wire appears original, and the power cord is in good condition and was replaced at some point.  There is some vibration which may be caused by an unbalanced blade and there is some bearing wear.  The fan operates on 5 speeds when supplied with its specified voltage of 110V AC. (110/115 AC is tagged voltage).  Speed 4 and 5 are very similar.   The amperage runs high and is as follows: 2.39, 2.12, 2.08, 2.03, 1.99.  Just a GREAT fan!  Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a 16" fully ribbed stick mount Pancake!  They are difficult to acquire!
