Beautiful Original Finish, Circa 1900 12" Westinghouse Tesla Ornate Base 100 Volts 133 Cycle Cast Tag Desk Fan. We are pleased to offer this beautiful early Westinghouse Tesla model. We acquired this example from a long-time collector who cherished it for many years. Original finish has been cleaned and waxed. The collector we acquired it from never ran the fan in all the years owning it (simply on display). The Tesla models feature one od the most unique motor housing with a large open frame and spider-like arms that extend from the center to the outer frame. The brass components of this example appear to have been polished some years ago and have started to develop a nice patina. This example runs as designed when supplied with 110 volts at 133 cycles (using a cycle generator). Excellent example for a fan collection or signature electrical history artifact.
