Beautiful Emerson CF28 2 Blade Ceiling Fan Circa 1899. This Excellent Example Is Ready To Be Hung and Used! Model CF28 Was Emersons First Ceiling Fan Which Started Production In The Late 1800's. The Internals Were Sent To The Ceiling Fan Master, John Andrews Owner Of Texas Ceiling Fans In Austin Texas. John Cleaned and Serviced The Motor and Observed It In Operation During The Testing Phase. We Cleaned The Original Iron Pieces In House With The Desire To Save Any Remaining Finish. The Original Top Motor Cover Was Painted Black To Match The Way It Would Have Looked The Day It Left The Factory. The Original Wood Blades Were Refinished In A Nice Rich Mahogany. This Work Was Performed By A Recently Retired 52 Year Finisher For Century Furniture. The "T" Handle Switch and Cover Are Limited Production Replacements Exact To Original Specs. Fan Is 56" In Diameter. Comes With Original Copper Flashed Twist Downrod, This Length Can Vary Based On Desire and Ceiling Height.
