Beautiful All Original 1908 12" GE General Electric BMY
Beautiful All Original 1908 12" GE General Electric BMY. This Is The Example To Have Of GE's BMY Desk Fan. This Early Example Features A Squatty Base With The Pivot Point Measuring 9 1/2". The Motor Features A Centrifugal Start Switch That Operates As Designed. Many Of These Examples Have Had The Start Switches Bypassed and Replaced With Modern Technology. The Paint Is 100% Original With No Touch Ups. We Cleaned and Waxed The Fan To Reveal This Wonderful Finish. This Example Has The Original 2 Rivet Blade That Has Been Professionally Balanced. Both Oilers Have Been Cleaned and Fresh New Wicks Installed With New Oil. We Also Installed A New Cloth Covered Headwire and Power Cord. The Brass Has Been Cleaned On This Fan and Is Developing A Nice Patina. A Very Early Example Of A Highly Collectible Fan.
