Amazing Original Circa 1900 EI2 Emerson Reversable Utility "Tripod" 52V Motor
Amazing Original Circa 1900 EI2 Emerson Reversable Utility Motor. Possibly used in a sewing machine application, this early Emerson motor features reversable functionality utilizing the 2 speed porcelain switch made famous with it application on Emerson Tripod Fans. Searching several catalogs in our library we have been unable to reference this exact motor and application. Bottom mounting surface of the motor retains its original bolt for mouting to a base of sorts. We have disassembled this motor, cleaning and servicing for display operation. The motor does function and switch reverses motors direction. An ideal addition to a fan, motor, or Emerson artifacts collection. Much harder to find than an Emerson Tripod Fan and condition makes it a Supreme Example.
