1930 Restored Chicago Aero Fan Black and Aluminum
Beautifully Restored 1930's Chicago Aero Fan. The black and aluminum color combination is perfect for the classic Industrial 1930's period for this plane. Chicago Aero Fans are the most striking airplane examples to roll out of the 1930's Airplane Ceiling Fan race. The cast aluminum wings with their scalloped design and raised lettering immediately grab your attention. The propeller has been finished off with a custom machined nose really giving the true airplane appearance. This example also still reatains the signature Chicago Aero Fan aluminum transition ball and lid, this was used as a junction box for wiring the plane to its main power source. If the plane were in need of servicing, disconnect the power within the aluminum ball and removed from hanger without completely removing from its ceiling hanger. Very beautiful example of a rarely found airplane fan!!
