This All Original Westinghouse Gyro Fan Comes Fresh From It's Original Installation Location In Abilene Kansas. This Gyro Was Installed In The Shockey & Lands Building In Downtown Abilene Kansas. This Gyro Was Installed New In 1919 And Was Recently Removed When The Building Was Sold. We Have Included An Image Of The Fan Installed In That Location, This Photo Was Taken Right Before Removal. The Fan Was Hanging In An Open Stairwell On The 3rd Floor To Disperse Air Through Out. These Fans When Found, Are Never In This Condition. This Example Is A True Time Capsule Original!! The Original Switches Never Survived With These Fans Because As You Can Imagine, This Was The First Component To Hit The Ground. The Blades Of These Fan Also Did Not Survive Well, When Taken Down Blades Left On Would Hold The Weight Of The Motors Thus Bending Them Back. This Is A Pristine Example!! All Parts Are Original To This Fan And Retain The Original Finish Which Was Applied 100 Years Ago. Blades Are 100% Original From The Factory, Brass Blades With Original Black Finish. The Fan Has Been Disassembled And Mechanically Serviced And Runs Perfectly. You Will Not Find A Better, More Original And Complete Gyro.
