Description

1910 Emerson Type 12648 16" Ornate Base Lever Oscillator. This Large Impressive Fan Has Many Early Emerson Characteristics Making It Very Desirable To Collectors. The Base Of The Fan Appears To Be Repainted, This Was Most Likely Done When The Base Was Repaired. The Front Lip On The Base Appears To Have Broken Or Cracked At Some Point And Has Been Repaired. The Repair Is Very Solid And Sturdy. Motor And Gearbox Feature A Wonderful Original Finish. As With All Emerson Lever Oscillator Models, Wear Beacomes Present Over The Last 100 Years. The Levers And Shoulder Screws Have Wear Consistent With Age. The Fan Runs And Oscillates As Designed. Wiring Appears To Have Been Upgraded Using Period Correct Cloth Covered Cord. This Fan Is A Real Air Mover And Perfect For A Large Space.
